The Guangxi Electric Vehicle Expo has come to a successful close. Looking back on the event, Smpllo electric vehicles, with their outstanding quality and innovative design, remained the center of attention throughout.
On October 31, 2024, the Second Research Group of the Gangbei Area of Guigang City, led by Wang Xihua, Member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor of Guigang, paid a field visit to the Smpllo factory and the Smpllo project to conduct on-site research. Accompanying the delegation were Qin Zuxing, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau; Xie Zhenxing, Section Chief of the Third Secretarial Section of the Municipal People’s Government Office; Wang Lunwei, Section Chief of the Industrial Science and Technology and Cooperation & Exchange Section of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, among others. Jing Rui, Chairman of Smpllo Company, warmly received the group and extended a hearty welcome.
On the morning of June 24, the groundbreaking ceremony for the project—featuring an annual production capacity of 100,000 two-wheeled electric vehicles and the annual recycling of 30,000 tons of waste batteries—was grandly held at the China-ASEAN New Energy Electric Vehicle Production Base, hosted by Guangxi Smpllo Bicycle Industry Co., Ltd., a standing vice-president unit of our association. Qian Zhen, executive president of our association, and Zhou Zhou, deputy secretary-general, attended the ceremony.
On the morning of June 24, Guangxi Smpllo Bicycle Industry Co., Ltd. held a groundbreaking ceremony for its project, which involves an annual production capacity of 100,000 two-wheeled electric vehicles and the annual recycling of 30,000 tons of waste batteries, with a total investment of RMB 200 million. This marks another milestone in the company’s journey toward a new chapter of development and underscores its vigorous momentum of growth.
On August 28, 2025, Nanning hosted the grand opening of the Fifth New Energy Electric Vehicle Industry Development Conference. The event is regarded as a leading indicator for China’s new energy electric vehicle sector, bringing together top industry players, academic experts, and government representatives.
